With this announcement, Skrybit has completed the acquisition of Bitmap.Holdings, marking its continued dedication towards building a decentralized data stack for enterprises. Bitmap.Holdings’ infrastructure will be integrated into Skrybit’s existing inscription platform. This merger will greatly increase the combined platform’s ability to anchor spatial enterprise data on Bitcoin. The acquisition will further strengthen Skrybit’s mission to build the best toolset for tomorrow’s decentralized data layer.

Skrybit’s focus is on realizing the potential of spatial data for smart enterprises, infrastructure and deep tech. They do so by embedding data in both time and digital “space,” with Bitcoin acting as a stable and immutable cornerstone. Bitmap.Holdings builds infrastructure and applications for the Bitmap Protocol. This new BRC-721 standard takes individual Bitcoin blocks and turns them into versatile, programmable parcels of digital land.
