The Genesis Season 2025 was marked by the introduction of four action figures: The Knight, The Pirate, The Cyborg, and The Special Forces. Each action figure comes with an individual backstory and individualized plan of action. Taking cues from traditional toy commercial storytelling, they’ve resurrected it! These player-driven stories were communicated through Discord and other in-game events, encouraging players to immerse themselves further into the Upland Metaverse.

Upland Metaverse kicked off Genesis Week June 9 – 13, 2025, a week jam packed with treasure hunts, contests, and exciting announcements. San Francisco served as a hub for kart races and various community events, fostering a sense of camaraderie among players. That’s called Uplander spirit! The festival of fun and community spirit excited long-time Uplanders and new arrivals alike. They interacted with the metaverse in pulse-racing, jaw-dropping new ways.
Genesis Week was dotted with real-time events as well, including “Collect Them All” and Decor Contests. Kart races, another leading feature of the week, brought an extra competitive aspect to the jubilations. These events were meant to drive player interaction and incentivize play, fostering a greater sense of community and competitive spirit within the world of Upland.
